REIKI DEFINITION
​
The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words:
"REI" means universal, transcendental spirit, mysterious power, essence.
"KI" means "Chi" or life force energy, which is the energetic building block of life.

Reiki, then may be interpreted to mean the mysterious power to transmit universal life force energy.

HOW REIKI WORKS
​
Life force energy follows into and through all of us. It also creates life. It 'steps down' as it enters our fields, and flows through the chakras to the body, nourishing all the organs and cells.
When the flow is disrupted or blocked, this diminishes the life force energy flowing into an area of the body. It can be shown that whenever there is a disease, there is a corresponding blockage in the flow of energy.
Reiki re-establishes the flow through these blocked areas, recharging them with life force energy. It opens up the energy flow through the blockages, which sets the healing process in motion.
For a receptive client, a treatment with this energy feels like a glowing radiance and naturally creates an altered state of consciousness.
Reiki is often performed on the chakras, but it may be applied to any area of the body. The universal life force energy that is used is limitless and is energizing for the therapists as well as fo the client.

I have come to learn and understand the healing energy of Reiki and as a demonstration have become certified in Reiki 1st and 2nd degree by Reiki Master Teacher Cristi Taylor, Usui Holy Fire III Reiki Teacher. I am actively pursuing the 3rd-degree certification that will allow me to become a Reiki Master which includes attunement to more symbols as well as allow me the tools I need to teach others Reiki.
If you are interested in additional services of healing as an addition to mental health therapy, I find the combination of these two can be extremely effective and beneficial. Should you find yourself interested and need more information about Reiki, I will more than willing to explain the benefits and how that could apply to the specific issues in your personal life. Due to certain laws in the state of California, I do not physically TOUCH any of my clients when performing Reiki Healing in order to be in ethical standards that are required and mandated.
As a demonstration for my 1st TIME CLIENTS for this service (Reiki) all clients will get a 15-minute demonstration of Reiki and with this demonstration I will accept donations only. This only applies to IN-PERSON sessions, not telehealth settings.
My Reiki Healing energy rates are as follows:
30 min Reiki Session: $22.00
1 hour Reiki Session: $35.00
***Mental health therapy rates are separate from Reiki rates and most insurances do not cover the cost of Reiki healing sessions.
***Reiki can be done via telehealth as well if required and the same rates apply.
